I’m Jonathan Davison — a Bedlington-based portrait photographer focused on creating honest, professional images that feel natural. At Alternative View I specialise in studio portraits, business headshots and LinkedIn-ready photos that help individuals and professionals present their best selves. I guide pose and expression, adjust lighting to suit your tone, and work with simple props or a bedroom set in the studio when appropriate to add context without distraction. Final images are edited with careful attention to tone and retouching, preserving personality while ensuring a polished finish. Based in Bedlington, my studio is set up for professional portrait work and I regularly welcome clients from across the North East seeking headshots, business portraits and studio sessions. In addition to portrait photography I host occasional workshops and group studio days for aspiring photographers — a chance to learn studio lighting and portrait technique hands-on.
