I’m Carlien — a Chichester-based portrait specialist who believes a great portrait is more than a picture: it’s a story, a feeling and a little revelation. My focus is on studio portraiture and professional headshots, creating images that are timeless yet current, flattering yet honest. I specialise in helping people feel relaxed in front of the camera so the photos reflect the best, most authentic version of you. My approach is personal and collaborative. In the studio I guide posing, wardrobe choices and subtle lighting so you can focus on being yourself while I shape light and mood. Technically I work with studio lighting and a considered editing style to deliver clean, professional images that stand out online and in print. While portraiture is my primary craft, I also photograph business portraits and on-location headshots when clients prefer their workplace or an environmental backdrop. These sessions are handled with the same attention to detail and signature editing that define my studio work.
