Hello — I’m Mark, the photographer behind Time Punk Photography, and portraiture is my craft. Based in a converted church studio in Coalville, I specialise in studio portraiture with a particular love for cosplay and character work. My aim is to capture personalities, costumes and the stories behind them with confident lighting, considered posing and a creative edit that complements your vision. With a degree in photography and full-time work as a professional photographer since 2005, I combine technical skill with a playful, fan-focused sensibility. I do all the shooting and all the editing myself, so your images receive a single creative voice from capture to final artwork — including advanced Photoshop techniques when a creative finish is desired. My approach is relaxed and collaborative. Studio sessions are designed to be fun and low-pressure so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Each shoot begins with a quick consultation to share ideas, plan looks and set expectations. In the studio you’ll find changing facilities and a calm atmosphere where we can experiment with poses, props and lighting until we have images you love. Before you leave, we’ll select favourites together so I can begin the final editing process with a clear sense of which images you want finished. I offer both clean, high-standard edits and fully worked creative pieces that add atmosphere and storytelling to your portrait. Whether you want a straightforward studio portrait that celebrates your costume and craft, or a heavily art-directed image with compositing and dramatic finishing, I tailor the edit to suit the character and the client.
