Rebecca Bridges Photography is a Colne-based portrait specialist with a warm, down-to-earth approach to creating professional portraits that feel genuine. I’m Becca — a self-taught photographer who grew up on a farm and now runs a friendly studio and shop in the heart of Colne. My work blends creativity and technical skill (I shoot with a refined Canon kit) to produce sharp, expressive images that reflect who you really are. As a portrait specialist I focus on capturing real personality. Whether you need a contemporary studio portrait, a confident professional headshot for LinkedIn and business profiles, or a relaxed family portrait, my sessions are designed to put you at ease. I take time to talk through your brief and plan the session so the final images match your vision — from wardrobe and pose guidance to the tone and background that suit your brand or personal style. My studio is deliberately welcoming: a comfortable space where even camera-shy clients can relax (and there’s always a brew if you pop by). I favour a conversational, supportive style — gentle direction rather than stiff posing — which helps people look natural and confident in front of the camera. For business portraits and headshots I aim for clean, contemporary results that work across websites, social media and printed materials; for personal portraits I prioritise connection and authenticity. Although portraiture is my core focus, I also take on commercial headshots and personal branding work when clients want images that tell a clear visual story about their business. I occasionally photograph maternity, family and pets in the studio too — always with the same care and attention, but my primary specialism remains portrait photography.
