My mission is simple: to capture uniqueness. Based on the Surrey/West Sussex border and working throughout the UK, I specialise in portrait photography — from professional headshots and LinkedIn photos to relaxed family and animal portraits. Before becoming a full-time photographer I worked as Dressage Editor at Horse & Hound and as British Dressage Website Editor, and those roles taught me how to find and tell stories through images. I’m also a BIPP award holder (Best Licentiate Award 2014) and have been accredited at major dressage events — credentials that reflect my attention to craft and consistency under pressure. My approach is warm, calm and collaborative. I like to create a relaxed atmosphere so people and pets can be themselves. For business portraits and headshots I’ll work with you to create a few distinct looks — confident corporate, approachable professional, or something more personal for creative industries — so you have images that suit LinkedIn, websites and marketing materials. For actors I enjoy exploring different expressions, outfits and backgrounds to build a versatile portfolio. When animals are involved I take time to understand their temperament and routines so their personality comes through naturally. Sessions are tailored: we talk through what you want to achieve, agree on locations or studio setups, and I guide you through poses and expressions in a conversational, unhurried way. My aim is that clients leave feeling comfortable and pleased with the experience as well as the final images. I love beauty in all its forms — relationships, character, design — and bring that sensibility to each portrait. Although portraiture is my core focus, I also photograph families and animals regularly, bringing the same narrative style and care.
