Droylsden portrait specialist — studio and on-location headshots for professionals and creatives. Chris Knight uses a relaxed, collaborative approach to capture authentic, professional portraits.
I specialise in portrait photography from my base in Droylsden, working with individuals, professionals and creatives to create confident, authentic images. Portraits are my core focus: whether you need a striking headshot for LinkedIn, polished business portraits for your team or a creative studio session to showcase personality, I position every shoot around what makes you, or your brand, distinct. Why choose me? My approach is personal and collaborative. Since starting photography in 2020 I’ve moved from landscapes into portraits, modelling and business promotion — and I’ve learned that the best portraits come when people feel relaxed and understood. I take time to listen to your ideas, discuss the look you want and guide you through simple poses and lighting so the result feels natural rather than staged. How I work: every session is tailored. We begin with a conversation about style, purpose and any visual references you like — pop the kettle on and let’s chat. On the day I create a calm, friendly atmosphere in the studio (or on location where appropriate), giving clear direction and encouragement so even camera-shy clients feel at ease. After the shoot I edit each image to a high standard, delivering professional portraits that are ready to use on websites, social media or corporate profiles. My portrait work emphasises honest expression and clean, professional styling. For business portraits and headshots I focus on flattering, consistent lighting and composition that read well online and in print. For creative studio or location portraiture I explore mood, colour and texture to produce images with personality. If you’re local to Droylsden or based elsewhere in the North West and want portraits that reflect who you are and what you do, please get in touch. I enjoy collaborating with clients who have a clear brief and with those who want creative guidance — either way, my priority is to produce portraits that feel true, professional and memorable.
