Hamilton Studios is East Grinstead’s dedicated portrait studio, run by Frazer Visser — a photographer who has worked in the town since 1997. Portrait photography is at the heart of what we do: our aim is to capture the real essence of you in a relaxed, bright style that suits family displays, personal portraits and professional headshots. We work from a fully equipped, air-conditioned studio with on-site parking, but we also offer location sessions if you prefer a more natural setting. Our approach is deliberately unhurried: we allow up to an hour for studio shoots so there’s time to explore flattering poses, relaxed expressions and the combinations that matter to you. The look we favour — bright light backgrounds and clean, contemporary presentation — is designed to stay fresh on your wall for years. From the moment you arrive we focus on making you feel at ease. Frazer’s experience with thousands of portrait sessions means he knows how to put even camera-shy clients at their most natural. After your session we invite you back to the studio to view your retouched and enhanced images projected on a big screen — an enjoyable part of the process where you choose the final images and the best way to display them. While portrait work is our core specialism, we also provide professional headshots and business portraits for clients who need a strong LinkedIn image or on-brand corporate portrait. These are delivered with the same attention to lighting, expression and professional finishing that define our personal portrait work.
