Photography is my pause button — and in my Grove portrait studio I specialise in creating portraits that stop time and make you feel seen. With a photography practice that began in 2004 and a BA Hons in Photography from De Montfort University, I focus on portrait photography as my core expertise. Whether you want a confident business portrait, a natural LinkedIn photo or a timeless personal portrait, I bring a calm, creative approach that helps every subject relax and shine. My sessions are deliberately personal: we start with a pre-shoot conversation so I understand your goals, preferred style and the mood you want to convey. I work from an intimate studio in Grove but I also bring a mobile studio to workplaces or shoot on location in the Oxfordshire countryside when a more natural backdrop will better reflect your personality. I aim to make the experience enjoyable and easy — guiding you through poses, lighting and expression so even those who dislike being photographed feel comfortable. Specialist headshot and business portrait work is a strong part of what I do. I’ve helped entrepreneurs, professionals and creatives craft images for websites, CVs and social profiles, tailoring each session to the tone your brand needs — from clean, studio-lit headshots to environmental portraits that show you in your workspace. LinkedIn photos and professional headshots are treated with the same artistic care as my personal portraiture: clarity, warmth and authenticity. My approach blends technical experience with an artist’s eye. I pay attention to flattering lighting, natural expression and details that matter — hair, posture and the small moments that make an image feel genuine.
