Trevor at Brightpix Photography is a Havant-based portrait specialist creating relaxed, natural portraits on location or with a portable studio. Friendly, helpful approach for individuals & families.
I’m Trevor, the photographer behind Brightpix Photography, based in Havant, Hampshire. Portrait photography is at the heart of what I do — I love photographing people and helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera. You’ll find me friendly and helpful, working in a relaxed style to create natural, flattering portraits that capture personality and genuine moments. As a portrait specialist in Havant I photograph single portraits, couples and family groups. I can work on location — using the places that matter to you as a backdrop — or bring a portable studio and lighting kit when a controlled look is preferred. That flexibility lets me tailor each session to your needs: informal outdoor shoots that showcase connection and movement, or studio-style images with crisp lighting for a more polished finish. My approach is simple and personable. Before the session we’ll talk about what you want to achieve, choose a location or set the studio plan, and agree a comfortable pace. During the shoot I aim to put people at ease with a gentle, conversational style so that expressions stay natural rather than posed. I’m happy to guide you on positioning and expression, but I also look for spontaneous moments — the small gestures and looks that make each portrait unique. I pay close attention to light, composition and detail, using portable lighting when required to shape flattering portraits. After the shoot I carefully select and refine images so you receive photographs that feel both honest and beautifully finished. Whether you want memorable family portraits, a standout individual image, or relaxed couple photos, my focus is on delivering images you’ll enjoy for years to come. If you’re in Havant, near Portsmouth and across Hampshire, I’d love to discuss how we can create portraits that reflect who you are.
