About the Photographer

I specialise in portrait photography in Glasgow, creating studio portraits and professional headshots that feel authentic, relaxed and distinctly personal. As a portrait specialist my focus is on capturing the real you — whether that’s for a polished LinkedIn headshot, a characterful personal portrait or a meaningful family image. My aim is always the same: unobtrusive, genuine photographs that reflect personality and purpose. My approach is simple and human. Sessions are calm, conversational and guided so you don’t need to be a ‘natural model’ to look great. I work with light, composition and subtle direction to create flattering, expressive images while keeping the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Clients tell me they appreciate how quickly they settle — that relaxed atmosphere is where the best portraits happen. In the studio I concentrate on clarity, connection and craft. I take time to understand how you want to present yourself, then tailor lighting, background and posing to suit that goal. For professional headshots and business portraits I emphasise approachability and credibility: clean lighting, confident posture and images that work across LinkedIn, company profiles and marketing materials. For personal portraits I focus on mood and expression, aiming for images that feel honest and timeless. While portraiture is at the heart of my work, I also shoot business-facing headshots and occasional pet portraits as part of that portrait practice. Pet portraits are handled with the same patience and care as human subjects — a calm studio environment and plenty of encouragement to capture a true moment. Working with me is collaborative: we discuss ideas before the session, you get practical guidance on what to wear and how to prepare, and during the shoot I offer clear direction while leaving space for natural moments. My priority is delivering portraits you’ll be proud to use and share. If you’re looking for professional portrait photography in Glasgow — studio headshots, business portraits or a personal portrait session — I’m here to make the process easy and the results distinctly you. Reach out and we’ll plan a session that showcases what matters most.
