I’m Jacqui — a fully qualified photographer based near Kilwinning with almost ten years’ experience capturing the quiet, joyful moments that make up family life. My portrait practice centres on creating calm, genuine images in a cosy home studio environment where clients feel comfortable and at ease. Whether you’re after a contemporary headshot for LinkedIn, a tender maternity portrait, or timeless family and newborn photos, I specialise in portraits that reflect real personalities rather than stiff poses. My approach is relaxed and client-led. I take time to get to know you before you arrive so the session feels natural and unhurried. For newborns and babies I work baby-led and with patience; for expectant parents I focus on flattering, emotive imagery that celebrates this short-lived moment. For professional portraits and headshots I aim to create confident, approachable images that work well online and in print, tailoring lighting and background choices to the tone you want to convey. I care deeply about the craft of editing — every image receives thoughtful enhancements to ensure skin tones, colours and composition feel true and timeless without looking over-processed. After the session you’ll receive a private online gallery to view and choose your favourites, and I’ll apply careful retouching so the final images are ready to display.
